Hillary Giddings, M.S.

Hillary Giddings (she/her) is an experienced communications strategist who specializes in targeted communications, program management, and stakeholder engagement initiatives in higher education. Her prior involvement in the management of Towson University’s Commencement ceremonies sparked a passion for creating and cultivating experiences uniquely tailored to the diverse audiences and participants involved in these milestone occasions. In addition to her professional experiences, she holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in human resource development. 

Bethany Pace, M.Ed.

Bethany Pace (she/her) has overseen more than forty-five Commencement ceremonies, providing leadership for all aspects of the ceremonies and facilitating collaboration across institutional divisions and teams to ensure the proper execution of nine ceremonies each year. Ms. Pace’s career spans high schools, colleges, and private industry and she has been responsible for multiple institutional innovations involving not only graduation ceremonies, but also strategic communications, student, faculty, alumni, and parent engagement, research programs, and diversity, equity, and belonging initiatives. Bethany holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in counseling from The Pennsylvania State University (University Park).
